Defencell
DefenCell is the new generation of Force Protection Engineering, offering a lightweight and deployable solution for expeditionary operations. Filled with locally available materials, the system is modular in height and width allowing construction to meet the differing threat requirements. All parts are man portable and air droppable, facilitating deployment in hostile environments. DefenCell is a range of cellular systems with applications for the Engineer to the Infantryman, from barrier walls to sangars and from collective protection to individual 'shell scrapes'.
The DefenCell™ barrier system provides personnel and infrastructure protection in Military, Security and Environmental applications. Lightweight, man portable and non-metallic with a small logistical footprint, it is available in various flexible and modular configurations from individual positions up to complete forward bases and can be deployed rapidly, with or without engineering support.In both military and security applications it affords protection from small arms fire right up to VBIEDs and artillery. In the environmental sphere, DefenCell™'s proven geocell technology makes it ideal for flood protection and ground stabilisation.

- Lightweight and mobile - e.g. T-72 MBT decoy weighs approx. 90kg with transport bag
- Rapid deployment
- Setup in under 10 minutes by one person
The decoys are visible on different sensors. All the users need to do is unpack the decoy and turn on the petrol engine. 90 seconds later the decoy generates the desired RCS (SAR) and infrared signature.
